Your account and security

How to manage your password, two-factor authentication, and account settings.

Written by Anna Tiril Uggerud

What and why

Your Telescope account is secured with a password and two-factor authentication. This article explains how to manage your login credentials and account settings.

How it works

  • Resetting your password. If you've forgotten your password, use the "reset password" link on the login page at app.telescope.eco. You'll receive an email with instructions to set a new password. Your two-factor authentication setup stays the same.

  • Two-factor authentication. All Telescope accounts require two-factor authentication using an authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator). You set this up when you first create your account by scanning a QR code from within the authenticator app. Use the authenticator app to scan, not your phone's camera app.

  • Changing your password. You can change your password from the login page using the reset password flow. Enter your email, receive the reset link, and set a new password.

Good to know

If you lose access to your authenticator app (for example, if you get a new phone), contact us through the chat. We can help you reset your two-factor authentication so you can set it up again.

Telescope does not support social logins (Google, Microsoft) at this time. All accounts use email and password with two-factor authentication.
